What are you up for with the new lineup of genuine paper?
Kamo: Depending on the rated grade, paper differs each other in color reproduction, longevity, surface glossiness and thickness. Canon’s “Photo Paper Pro Platinum PT-101”, which is ranked the highest of the new lineup, is fine-tuned in quality for SLR camera users, who are particular about photos. “Photo Paper Pro II PR-201” is designed for photo enthusiasts who particularly are fond of the texture of photographic baryta paper. For high-amateurs and professional photographers, the photo paper of these two types delivers high quality results of their work. And we have “Photo Paper Plus Glossy II PP-201” for general customers who like to have quality print.
Ogino: We could bring out the superior performance of ChromaLife100+ because every one in our development teams of PIXMA had been working in tandem. Use not only the new dye inks and photo paper but also the new PIXMA, and you will have all ChromaLife100+ can provide.
How would you like customers to use new PIXMA?
Yoshizawa: I would like them to print photos by all means although All-In-One printers are frequently used as a copier. Since we designed both paper and inks primarily for printing photos, I strongly recommend customers to print photos with this combination, our genuine paper and inks, and to appreciate quality of the prints. I am sure they rediscover how fun printing photos can be.
