The XH G1S is Canon's latest high definition camcorder. It builds on Canon's many years of innovative optical, integrated circuit and camera design to create a camcorder ideal for use in documentary and independent movie production as well as event and corporate video production.
The XH G1S is equipped with three 1/3" Native 16:9 CCDs (1440 x 1080). They deliver outstanding picture quality, highly accurate color reproduction, and a wide dynamic range with virtually no color noise.
