Compact Cameras
The PowerShot camera
serial number may be found on the bottom of the
camera printed on the sticker near the tripod mount
threads. The longer number on the bottom of the
camera is the serial number and should not be
confused with the shorter model number showing just
above the serial number.

Camcorders
Video Camcorder
serial numbers may be found in the following
locations shown below.
The serial number of this product is located
underneath the battery on the body of the camcorder.
Please remove the main battery to view the serial
number.

The serial number of this product is located on the
bottom on the camcorder. The serial number is a 12
digit number read top to bottom, left to right.
For example: the serial number below is

The serial number of this camcorder may be found on
the bottom of the viewfinder. Raise the viewfinder
to its vertical position to expose the serial number

The printer serial number is visible when the top
cover is opened, as shown below. The serial number
is located on the front metal plate on a white
sticker.

Open the top cover to expose the ink tank/cartridge
area. The serial number is located on a white
sticker on a metal plate to the right of the print
head carriage inside the printer. It starts with
four letters and ends with five numbers.
