LUCIA Ink boasts five new ink colors: Gray, Photo Gray, Red, Green, and Blue. The grays help produce smooth gradation and less grained images, while the Red, Green and Blue allow for a wider color gamut. The availability of new color mixtures increases the accuracy of color reproduction.

There is more polymer coating for the photo inks which leads to increased print longevity when compared to previous Canon ink technology.
