The SELPHY CP790 Compact Photo Printer is a portable powerhouse like no other! Its unique Storage Basket conveniently holds the paper and ink cassettes, AC adapter and cable and optional battery pack. Plus, its special locking mechanism keeps everything together as you bring the printing party with you wherever you go.

This product's ease of use is amazing with a 3.0" LCD for previewing your images, ink and paper in one cassette plus the Easy-Scroll Wheel which lets you quickly navigate to the function you want. But, the fun only begins there as the CP790 has built-in Creative Options like Frames, Calendars, Photo Diary Print and more to give your photos the added personal touch you want when sharing your memories. Print borderless images in Credit Card and Postcard sizes or Black & White photos. The Portrait Image Optimize feature automatically delivers face detection, backlight correction and noise reduction.

Just take this portable printer by the handle and create amazing photos that are water-resistant and last up to 100 years1 on the spot. You don't even need a computer - just print directly from compatible memory cards2, digital cameras and Bluetooth3 mobile devices, and print anywhere and anytime with its optional NB-CP2L battery.

Portrait Image Optimize : People's faces are detected within the image, and corrections are made so that the brightness and contrast of the faces are optimal. Easy-Scroll Wheel : Scroll and View - The Easy-Scroll Wheel lets you navigate to the functions you want, while you view your images on the TFT screen. ID Photo Print : Has ID photo print mode for passports and other IDs My Colors : Set 5 color effects - Black & white, Sepia, Vivid, Neutral and Positive Film.
Memory Card Slots : Print from compatible memory cards - The memory card slot lets you print photos direct. No computer needed.

The following can be used with the addition of a special adapter sold separately: microSD™ Card, microSDHC™ Card, MMCmicro Card, xD-Picture Card® and Memory Stick Micro™.
  3. Requires mobile phone (or other device) equipped with Bluetooth v.2.0 and optional Canon Bluetooth Unit BU-30. Bluetooth operation depends on the device and software version used. Operating distance is approx. 10 meters but may vary due to obstacles, radio signals, locations where radio interference occurs, magnetic fields from microwave ovens, device sensitivity and/or antenna performance.
  4. Print Speed obtained using compatible Canon compact digital camera incorporating DIGIC II (other camera models may vary).
  5. Requires mobile phone with IrDA port and support for IrMC version 1.1 protocol, with phone positioned no more than 7.9 inches from printer.
