Now when you're on-the-go whether by yourself or with the friends and family, you can experience fun, easy photo printing! The SELPHY ES40 Compact Photo Printer features a great combination of quality and ease of use. With ink and paper in one cartridge, you'll be able to print borderless images in Credit Card and Postcard sizes, in color or black & white that will be water-resistant and last up to 100 years1.

The 3.5" Color LCD lets you preview and edit your images before you print while the Easy Scroll Wheel allows you to quickly jump to the function you want. The good times continue to roll with new Creative Print options like Speech Bubbles, Stamps, Frames and Effects to customize your images. Plus, the optional Gold and Silver ink lets you take creativity to all-new heights. Make the most of your memories and utilize the Portrait Image Optimize feature which automatically delivers face detection, backlight correction and noise reduction. One of the coolest features new to the SELPHY ES series is the Voice Guidance functionality. Your ES40 will actually speak to you when you press the voice button so printing will be even more fun and hands free!

To print awesome photos you don't even need a computer - just print directly from compatible memory cards, cameras and Bluetooth mobile devices. Or, you can easily print from a compatible power outlet with the built-in AC Adapter. So, what are you waiting for? Exif Print : Supports Exif 2.2 (Exchangeable Image Format File), the worldwide standard for higher quality digital phtos. Red-Eye Correction : Automatically reduces instances of red-eye in an image (to be printed) resulting from using a flash. Portrait Image Optimize : People's faces are detected within the image, and corrections are made so that the brightness and contrast of the faces are optimal. USB : Has USB connectivity 16.8 Million Colors : Dye-sub printers can mix the colors from the cyan, magenta and yellow ink ribbons to reproduce 16.8 million colors. 100 years print : Durable protective print overcoating (up to 100 years print life when stored in a photo album).
Easy-Scroll Wheel : Scroll and View - The Easy-Scroll Wheel lets you navigate to the functions you want, while you view your images on the TFT screen. DIGIC II Dye Sub : Dye-sublimation printers use heat to transfer ink to photo papers and then apply a clear protective coating. This process allows the printer to reproduce 16.8 million colors and exceptionally smooth gradients. The clear protective coating helps protect your prints from light, water and gases.   4. Requires mobile phone equipped with PictBridge technology and a USB cable.
  5. Requires mobile phone (or other device) equipped with Bluetooth v.2.0 and optional Canon Bluetooth Unit BU-30. Bluetooth operation depends on the device and software version used. Operating distance is approx. 10 meters but may vary due to obstacles, radio signals, locations where radio interference occurs, magnetic fields from microwave ovens, device sensitivity and/or antenna performance.
