The CPS program is available to full-time working professional photographers that meet the membership level requirements of equipment ownership and business. This program offers three levels of membership - Silver, Gold and Platinum - to qualifying members, with each level receiving better and more extensive benefits.     SILVER Level Membership Benefits (Complimentary)

    Applicant must own at least two (2) 20D class digital SLR cameras and above, and three (3) eligible lenses. See CPS Pro Lens List (above) for complete list of eligible lenses. Products registered under the Program are referred to as ELIGIBLE Products.

    • Silver level members are not eligible for loan equipment
    • Silver level members are not eligible for repair coupons at any time under the Program
    GOLD Level Membership Benefits ($100 Membership Fee)

    Applicant must own at least two (2) 20D class digital SLR cameras and above, and three (3) eligible lenses. See CPS Pro Lens List for complete list of eligible lenses. Products registered under the Program are referred to as ELIGIBLE Products.
    • Welcome Kit: Welcome Letter, CPS Member Card, CPS Member Pin, CPS Pro Strap, CPS Pocket date book, EF Lens Work Book III, Canon Pro Guidebook, 1 rear lens cap, and 1 camera body cap (contents subject to change)
    • Access to trial loan equipment
    • Discounted admission to Canon Live Learning seminars and workshops
    • Access to CPS Hotline phone support
    • 30% discount on repairs of your ELIGIBLE Products; restrictions may apply, see discount restrictions below.
    • Expedited 3-day service Turnaround on your ELIGIBLE Products. Loan Units may be available upon request if Turnaround exceeds 3 business days (See Repair Turnaround Time under GOLD LEVEL REPAIR SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS for more details).
    • 2 complimentary Service Clean and Checks (check, clean and adjustment to Canon factory specifications) by the Factory Service Centers of New Jersey or California (on your ELIGIBLE Products only). Members are responsible for all shipping charges to the Factory Service Center.
    GOLD LEVEL REPAIR SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (for ELIGIBLE Products only):
    1. Warranty and Out of Warranty Repair Service
    1. Warranty repair service will be performed in accordance with the Limited Warranty packaged with the product. These Membership terms and conditions may confer greater benefits to you than the Limited Warranty for the product, but this may not be construed as a modification, extension or enhancement of that Limited Warranty under any circumstances.
    2. For out of warranty repair service, a repair estimate will be sent to you for your approval before any repairs are performed, unless you pre-approve a specified amount (see section 3, below). If you do not reply to this repair estimate within 60 days of Canon USA's receipt of the Product, the Product will be returned to you unrepaired. You will be responsible for all shipping costs and risk of loss for such returned product.
    3. Products which are submitted for warranty service without proof of warranty eligibility may not be able eligible for repair within 3 business days and will be treated as an out of warranty repair under section b above.
    2. Repair service can be obtained by calling the CPS Hotline at 1-877-CPS-8122.

    3. Repair service may be pre-approved (maximum pre-approval is $450 plus applicable tax and shipping) by enclosing a signed note with the product to be repaired, your approval limit, membership number and form of payment. (See Additional details and conditions). Should the repair require more than the amount pre-approved, an estimate of repair will be sent for your approval before any work is done. In these cases, Turnaround runs from the time of approval.

    4. Acceptable Forms of Payment for Repair Service:
    1. Visa/MasterCard/American Express (including expiration date and signature)
    2. Check, Money Order, or Certified Check
    5. Repair Turnaround Time:
    1. For warranty repairs, Canon will repair, and ship back to you, the ELIGIBLE Product that is repairable, in Canon's reasonable discretion, by the third business day following receipt by Canon of the equipment marked with a GOLD RUSH SERVICE sticker ("Turnaround"). Turnaround does not mean that you will receive your repaired product within 3 business days. For out of warranty repairs, the 3 business day period will run from the date of Canon's acceptance of your payment for the approved repair.
    2. If more than three (3) pieces are sent for repair at one time, Turnaround for all pieces may be longer than 3 business days.
    3. Turnaround is subject to parts availability.
    4. If Canon does not repair and return the eligible camera or compatible lens or flash, or provide a loan unit within such 3 business day period, subject to the exclusions set forth above, your sole and exclusive remedy will be a $100 Repair Coupon redeemable as set forth below. (See Repair Coupon conditions below.)
    6. Shipment:
    1. You may choose any shipper you want to ship your product to Canon USA. However, we recommend you ship your product by rush carrier service such as Federal Express, UPS Blue/Red Label or similar carriers. All products should be packaged well, insured, and shipped in a manner that can be tracked. You assume all responsibility for products shipped to Canon including, without limitation, shipping costs and liability for damage during shipping.
    2. A correct street address must be supplied for return shipment. No shipment to Post Office (P.O.) boxes can be made.
    3. Return shipments will be standard overnight at no cost.
    PLATINUM Level Membership Benefits ($500 Membership Fee)

    Applicant must own at least two (2) 5D class digital SLR cameras and above, and 3 eligible lenses. See CPS Pro Lens List for complete list of eligible lenses. Products registered under the Program are referred to as ELIGIBLE Products.
    • Welcome Kit: Welcome Letter, CPS Member Gift, CPS Member Card, CPS Member Pin, 2 CPS Pro Straps, CPS Pocket date book, EF Lens Work Book III, Canon Pro Guidebook, 2 rear lens caps, and 2 camera body caps (contents subject to change)
    • Priority access to trial loan equipment

    • 60% discount on repairs of your ELIGIBLE Products; restrictions may apply, see discount restrictions below.
    • Expedited 2-day service turnaround on ELIGIBLE Products only.
    • Service Loan backup based on availability and only if product cannot be returned within the specified expedited time. See Repair Turnaround Time under PLATINUM LEVEL REPAIR SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS for more details.
    • Free inbound shipping for supported service items

If Canon does not repair and return the ELIGIBLE Product, or provide loan equipment within such 2 business day period, subject to the exclusions set forth above, registrant's sole and exclusive remedy will be a $100 Repair Coupon redeemable as set forth below. (See Repair Coupon conditions below.)
    6. Shipment:
    1. Shipments inbound to Canon will be standard overnight, with shipment labels provided by Canon at the time of repair service requested by the member. All Products must be packaged well, insured, and shipped in a manner that can be tracked.
    2. A correct street address must be supplied for return shipment. No shipment to Post Office (P.O.) boxes can be made.
    3. Return shipments will be standard overnight at no cost.
    Additional details and conditions:

    Repair Coupon:

    1. The Repair Coupon may be used towards one (1) out of warranty repair of any ELIGIBLE Canon camera, lens, flash or accessory that is repairable, in Canon's reasonable discretion.

    2. The Repair Coupon can be redeemed exclusively by the CPS member recipient of the Coupon for up to $100.00 in Canon Factory Service Center repairs at the facilities indicated on the face of the Repair Coupon. If the repair charge is less than $100.00, the balance of the Repair Coupon is void and no refund will be issued. Repair Coupon has no cash value and will not be replaced or reissued.

    3. The Repair Coupon can be combined with the discount on parts and labor set forth in the "Repair Discount" Section, but cannot be combined with any other offer.

    4. Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms and conditions will be void.

    Repair Discount:

    1. Your applicable membership level discount will be applied to the retail price of parts and labor for any out of warranty repair on your ELIGIBLE Product that is repairable, within Canon's reasonable discretion, and only at Canon's Factory Service Centers at Jamesburg, NJ, or Irvine, CA.

    2. Other than the $100.00 Repair Coupon, you cannot combine the discount benefit with any other offer or discount.

    Priority Telephone Support:

    Based on system availability, Priority Telephone Support is available Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Eastern Time, excluding holidays. Priority Telephone Support is only available when using 1-877-CPS-8122. Please have your CPS member number available as you may be asked for it as proof of membership.

    Additional Restrictions and Exemptions:

    1. The following products are not eligible for benefits under this Program:
    1. Products that have been modified, other than by Canon Factory Service Center Technicians;
    2. Refurbished products, unless such products have been refurbished by Canon; or
    3. Products used as rental equipment.
    2. Any ELIGIBLE Product requiring repair service must be located within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia and have a drop ship point within one of those geographic territories. Canon will not ship units outside these geographic territories.
