We made an announcement in October 2005 about our free repair services to address a problem with the CCD image sensor used in certain Canon digital cameras. However, (as the service period for this product has now ended,) kindly note that we will no longer provide such free repair services for the Affected Products below after March 31, 2010.
Accordingly, repair services for the Affected Products below that are received after April 1, 2010 will be handled in accordance with Canon's general repair standards and regulations.
We regret that some of our customers may have been inconvenienced by this issue and would like to offer our apologies to them. Canon will continue to strive to provide our customers with high quality products that they can use with confidence. Thank you for your kind understanding.
