With Picture Style, RAW data is reborn in new colors
When you use Digital Photo Professional Ver.2.0 to develop RAW images shot with earlier-generation EOS DIGITAL cameras, you can finish them in the same tones used for images shot with the latest EOS DIGITAL cameras. And when you want to create a portfolio of images taken with multiple cameras, you can use Digital Photo Professional Ver. 2.0 to produce high-quality images in uniform tones without additional correction by image-processing software. Look at the difference in this RAW file by simply applying the Landscape Picture Style.

When a RAW image shot with an EOS-1D series camera not equipped with Picture Style is opened with Digital Photo Professional Ver. 2.0 the "Neutral" Picture Style is used for development. RAW images shot with other EOS DIGITAL cameras not equipped with Picture Style are developed with the "Standard" Picture Style.

If you use an EOS DIGITAL camera other than the EOS-1D series, please note that it employs Contrast (tone curve slider) and Saturation settings one level below those used by the EOS-1D Mark II N/EOS 5D. If you want to create images the same as those possible with a camera equipped with Picture Style, simply raise the Contrast and Saturation settings by one level.
