The general-purpose setting for sharp and vivid image
The "Standard" Picture Style is set to offer the vivid colors and contrast level most people prefer with general subjects. It provides significantly more contrast and color saturation than previous EOS cameras, along with increased in-camera sharpening -- especially with JPEG images. Skin tones are warmer, too. The standard setting is intended to provide an image that appears good when first viewed on your monitor, and that prints well at standard sizes on inkjet printers without further retouching.
