EPEAT^® - 4.3.3.1 and 4.3.4.1

Within one year of equipment being placed on the market, Canon provides all reuse and recycling facilities information for identifying the presence and location of all materials and components exhibiting hazardous characteristics or requiring special handling within equipment. This is done to help ensure that such materials and components are safely and easily identifiable. Reuse and recycling facilities are also provided guidance for the effective processing of the materials identified in Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Annex II via an end-of-life characterization report; prepared and made available for each EPEAT registered product within one year of the equipment being placed in the market.
