4.8.4.1 Packaging take-back service for products sold directly to institutions

We offer an optional take-back service of non-fiber based packaging to institutional purchasers of all Canon branded products for recycling. All customers can use our take-back service at their own cost. The below scheme shows you how our service works. We strongly encourage that you recycle plastic packaging locally as it eliminates greenhouse gas emissions associated with transportation.

Procedure

1. You can send your plastic packaging to our packaging recycler. Here is the address.

2. Our recycler receives the plastic packaging and recycles it. None goes to landfill.

3. You can use your shipper of choice. Canon will pay for the recycling.
