Canon toner/ink cartridges and toner containers/ink tanks are not designed to prevent their reuse and recycling. Also, Canon office machines/printers are not designed to prevent the use of non-Canon toner cartridges and toner containers. For optimum performance of Canon office machines/printers, Canon recommends use of Genuine Canon supplies.
