Low Light Monster!
I've shot 5 events since Dec. and I'm very impressed with the 6D's image quality (I upgraded from the 7D). Low light performance is outstanding. I have no problem shooting 12,800. Wifi works great, but it can take a minute for my tablet to connect. It makes uploading to social sharing sites very fast. Once connected, viewing/downloading is quick. The center AF point is fantastic, but the outer points are not as reliable in low light. It can make composition more challenging in extreme low light, but it's superior to the 5D II. AI servo works fine for me in single shot for side to side action, like BMX (back button focusing is nice). I'm sure the 5D III is far superior (I don't shoot sports). Bottom line is if you are upgrading from an APS-C or shoot slow moving or static events, you'll love the images. Car shows are perfect!

A wonderful camera
I shoot mostly concerts. When looking to upgrade my old camera I wanted three features:
1) Excellent image quality in low lighting
2) Reliable focusing ability in this same lighting conditions
3) Full Frame.
The 6D nailed it. I'm in aw of this camera. Whether I'm using my the 24-105mm IS, 70-200mm IS II or my 500mm F4 this camera delivers. I can easily take 1,000 to 1,500 shot per concert. One very nice feature is the quite mod too. A real plus.
My only complaint is the file names, when coping from the camera to my computer, some time drops but mostly changes changes the first charter.

Affordable Full Frame
I struggled a long time before upgrading from the T3i to the 6D. Was it really worth the money? Concise answer : YES!
Couldn't be happier. I feel like I stepped onto a new level of amateur photography. An affordable, full frame, well made Canon is great!

Outstanding in Everything that Really Counts
This camera is outstanding in all of the features that really count. I am an advanced amateur enthusiast primarily using the 6D for landscape, travel and portrait photography. For those purposes you can't ask for anything more. Image quality is fantastic. This was an upgrade for me from a 50D. I was waiting for the rumored 7D Mark II when the 6D came along. I'm sure glad it did. Having used the 6D for several months I much prefer the full frame over the APS-C sensor. The low noise at low light with higher ISO's that a full frame gives is well worth the price. Another really nice feature of the 6D is the ability to bracket 3, 5 or 7 shots for HDR. Coming from a 50D (and a 20D before that) the menu system was a breeze - no real learning curve at all.
It is true that this camera is somewhat "lacking" in features compared to the 7D or 5D Mark III. But the question I asked myself is would I really avail myself of those features, and the answer was "no." The auto focus is more than adequate and, with the possible exception of a built-in flash, this camera does everything needed for the type of photography I do. As a practical matter, the only time I ever used the built in flash on my 50D was for a little bit of fill light in outdoor portraits. It's really not that big an issue not to have it.
The Wi-Fi / iPhone app is exceptionally easy to use. It's great for long exposures - since it uses live view you don't have to worry about mirror shake or stray light coming in the view finder. I can get about 40-50 feet away from the camera and still have a connection as long as I'm not inside a building. There are some features I'd like to see in the iPhone app, principally a built in timer for long bulb exposures. But all in all, it functions really well, as does the GPS.
I have not had an issue with battery life. I keep the GPS on but the GPS tracker off, and only turn on the WiFi when in use. I've gone 7+ hours shooting 250+ images and still have battery life left.
Make no mistake, this is NOT the right camera if you're primarily into action or sports photography. If that's your forte you need the 7D with its extra auto focus points, higher fps and the "enhanced" telephoto range the APS-C crop factor gives you. But for landscape, travel and portrait, you can't go wrong.
