Overview
Smart Paper Handling
The D420 boasts print and copy speeds of up to 23 pages-per-minute (ppm) for letter-sized output, and delivers Quick First Prints or copy pages in approximately nine seconds. Load paper easily in the 250-sheet paper cassette and your black and white output comes out crisp and fast. Two-sided output for copying and printing saves space and reduces paper consumption. Reduce and enlarge, collate or make draft copies from the easy to use control panel.
Single Cartridge System
To deliver high-quality prints and copies, the D420 incorporates the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner, drum and development unit in one easy-to-replace cartridge, resulting in excellent image quality retention and eliminating the complication and warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.

Excellent Printer and Excellent customer serivce
Easy to use, especial for "scan". Good quality. Although I was confused on installing drivers in Mac OS X system, at last I was succeed in doing it from the help of excellent customer service. Excellent product!

Very good buy.
My older PC745 copier died and I bought this one as it's replacement. Most multi printers cost a lot more and all I really wanted was a copier. It's fast, makes good copies and the two sided feature is easy to use. Probably wont use the other features offered but, they are there if I need them.
Too soon to have any cons.

Great Product By Canon Once Again!!!
This product is simple to set up & use. Has all the basic functions that a person could want. Very quick first print/copy out. Canon is a great company & they just keep putting out great products!

Great product, as usual
This is the best printer i have owned. I have been a canon customer for about 15 years. There are other printers that have alot of gagets and do-dads that you pay for but don't use. Canon is the best at controlling this. The prices now, since on-line ordering became available, i have found that the prices are cheaper than in the store. I could keep going, but lastly, their service is outstanding. My printer stopped working while under warranty, and after a few trouble shooting steps with tech support, they are going to send me a printer and exchange the damaed one out. you can't get better than that!
