Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology
Even second generation copies are printed beautifully

This technology faithfully reproduces copies as they are seen with the naked eye. Compression precision in the compression area (area outside the range of the PIXMA printer's color reproduction capability) has been improved for even more faithful reproduction. Moreover, due to the Text and Image Separation Technology and the Hybrid System of dye color ink and pigment-based black ink, copies on plain papers look great.

Measuring Print Speed
In 2009, the International Standards Organization implemented a print standard for inkjet printer document print speeds which is a universal measure utilizing three types of standardized test documents in "real world" conditions - one, four page Excel document, one - four page Word document and one-four page PDF document. This new standard allows customers to better understand printer speed claims, helping them to select the best product to fit their needs.
