Amazing - simply amazing
New to the game of this range/quality of cameras but have been a canon person for 30+ years. This is simply the nicest camera I have owned. All the functions and requirements that I have as an amateur. Having had Canons, all the functions were as old, so learning time was minimal. The 25,000+ ASA is icing on cake!

Great all around camera
I got the camera when it first came out. I'm coming from the 60d to now the 6d full frame camera and I have to say I love it. I have shot 2 weddings and also shot some music videos with it. I have to say shooting in low light is a dream with the camera. I still use my 60d as a back up but i dont use it much..

Best one yet
Been a photographer since 1970. Got away from it for a while. In 2004 while visiting the Grand Canyon the bug bit me hard. Since '04 I've had 5 Canon DSLRs, plus a G10 and a G12.
The full frame 6D is buy far the best yet. Great low light capability. Every time I use it I'm a little more amazed than the last time. I have five canon lenses and three flashes. All work perfectly together. After 40 years I finally found the one I've been waiting for . Full frame or nothing !!!

Best Canon I've had to date!
I photograph horse and hound sports, air shows, concerts with stage lighting, award presentations, picnics, and family events - several thousand images per year. The modest FPS rate is not an issue, as I learned with film to shoot well-timed single frames. I'm coming from a 7D, which I liked a lot, but after two months of use, this is my favorite. The 7D is backup for emergencies. I'm mostly shooting in Manual mode, letting the camera control the ISO level, and it's doing a great job. The center-point focus/servo is great.
