The Optura 20's Lithium Ion batteries take the worry out of battery care. Unlike Nickel-Cadmium batteries, Lithium Ion batteries are free from "memory effect" which can reduce the usable power of the battery over time. The Extended Life BP-512 Battery (Item Code: 6760A002) lets you keep on shooting -- with up to 1 hours and 50 minutes of recording time when you use the LCD screen and up to 2 hours 30 minutes when you use the viewfinder.
