Features
High Density Print-Head PF-03
Engineered for speed and advanced image production, the iPF610 boasts Canon's latest print-head technology to lay down ink with unprecedented speed and accuracy. The iPF610 uses a high-precision, high-density print head with a total of 15,360 nozzles to lay down 4 picoliter-size ink droplets to produce sharp detail and excellent image quality. The superfine 4 picoliter-size droplets produce delicate color gradations and high-definition. The twin lines of nozzles on the print head enable the iPF610 to minimize the number of printing passes and still maintain print quality. More nozzles mean more ink is ejected with every pass of the print head, no matter what print mode or media. It gives new meaning to "high-speed output."

Money maker
I am a general contractor in the remodeling business in South West Florida. We work with many clients as a design/architect/contractor/builder type capacity and have been growing every year despite the economy. In order to provide better service and information to both our clients and our subs we invested in an IPF 610 last year. What it has done for us in terms of presentation image is remarkable. Yes we save money on print shop copies of plans but now we run a vast array of preliminay sketches on large format D sheets and present them to the client while in the design process. As far as I am concerned the machine has been making us money from the begining, sorry I waited to make the investment.
Yes it works flawlessly and the speed is much better than anticipated. Hairline weighted drawings are crisp and the colors are clean. Cost to print saves us about a dollar a page over print shops here. Have not run any photos but plan to use it to produce showroom prints in large format for display eventually, the cassette should be good for that, keep in mind that the roll paper must be removed from the feeder to switch to the cassette so setting it up for multi type use isnt very convienent, for now we just use the roll and it works well.
