The LV-8215 offers a variety of features to optimize the image or video you are projecting:
Image Modes The LV-8215 allows you to appropriately optimize your projections using one of five automatic image modes.
Presentation — Ideal for presentations using PowerPoint.
Video — For projecting standard video, such as TV broadcasts.
Cinema — For projecting film-based video, such as movies (DVD or HDTV).
Standard — When maximum color accuracy is desired for viewing graphics.
sRGB — For reproducing color adapted to the sRGB color space; suitable for sRGB content.
In addition, a "Detail Settings" menu allows you to further customizing the projection mode. Select any image mode and make desired adjustments, such as for brightness, contrast, and sharpness.
Aspect Ratio The size of your projections can also be changed to match the type of image desired, by making adjustments to one of the 4 aspect ratio settings.
Auto — Adjusts the aspect ratio from 4:3 of traditional televisions and computer monitors to 16:9, 15:9, or 16:10.
Wide Zoom — Modifys the standard 4:3 ratio by enlarging the image, cropping from the top and bottom, and eliminating the need for black side bars.
Letter Box — Best for native 16:9 content.
True Size — Adjusts the ratio aspects in the best way to fit the screen without strongly altering the image from what intended originally.
Automatic Keystone Adjustment The LV-8215 gives you further flexibility by adapting to the environment with the automatic keystone adjustment. Simply place your projector on a flat surface, and keystone will correct automatically- with no buttons to push, making setup a breeze! Built-in sensors detect the tilt of the projector and automatically correct for keystone distortion — up to +/- 30 degrees vertically. Of course, you can still adjust keystone correction manually.
