Canon has released a firmware update for the VIXIA HF11 Camcorder.

Changes in Firmware Version 1.0.1.0:
This model is now able to record, play back, and copy movies in MXP and FXP modes with Class10 SD or SDHC memory cards.

Firmware Version 1.0.1.0 is for camcorders with firmware version 1.0.0.0. If the camcorder's firmware is already Version 1.0.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camcorder is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
