Canon has released a firmware update for the Wireless Transmitter WFT-E4A (Wireless File Transmitter for the EOS 5D Mark II).

Firmware
Firmware Version 1.0.1 incorporates the following fixes.

1. Fixes a phenomenon where a network error occurs when the wireless file transmitter is used while being connected to a network.
2. Fixes a phenomenon where the connection between the camera and computer is terminated when using the EOS Utility software to shoot movies, and the camera no longer recognizes the wireless file transmitter.

Firmware Version 1.0.1 is for the WFT-E4A wireless file transmitter with firmware up to Version 1.0.0. If the firmware is already Version 1.0.1, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
