Canon has released a firmware update for the Rebel T3 digital SLR.

Firmware
Firmware Version 1.0.5 incorporates the following fixes and improvements:

1. Fixes a phenomenon in which the AF does not function and the shutter cannot be released during Live-view shooting when the Speedlite 270EX II is attached.
2. Corrects wording in the Italian and Portuguese language menu screens.

Firmware Version 1.0.5 is for cameras with firmware Version 1.0.4. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.0.5, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
