Canon has released a firmware update for the Canon PIXMA MG6320 printers to address the phenomenon described below.

Firmware
Firmware Version 2.010 incorporates the following fix:
    1. Fixes a phenomenon where the touch screen on the PIXMA MG6320 may sometimes not respond.

If the printer's firmware is already Version 2.010 or later, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Print the nozzle check pattern to determine if a firmware update is needed. If the firmware version is not printed on the nozzle check pattern, a firmware update is needed.

Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern:

1. Make sure that the power is turned on.
2. Make sure that one or more sheets of letter-sized plain paper are loaded in the cassette (lower).
3. Print the nozzle check pattern:

    a. Select Setup. The setup menu screen will appear.
    b. Select Maintenance. The Maintenance screen will appear.

    c. Tap “Print nozzle check pattern”.
    d. The confirmation screen will appear. Tap Yes.

Permanent Fix: Download the Firmware
Printer Firmware Updater file for the PIXMA MG6320 printers contains Firmware Version 2.010. If the printer’s firmware is already Version 2.010, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

When updating your printer’s firmware, please first review the instructions thoroughly before you download the firmware.

Temporary Fix: Recycle the Power
If you are unable to download and install the firmware, the following temporary solution is recommended.
        1. Unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet
        2. Wait 30 seconds
        3. Plug the printer’s power cord back into the power outlet
