  The imageRUNNER 85 continuously outputs print jobs at its rated speed of 85 impressions-per-minute, even while printing at 2400 x 600 dpi interpolated print resolution. It has a duty cycle of up to 400,000 impressions per month.
• 
  The imageRUNNER 85 is equipped with a 4,150-sheet paper supply. For paper intensive operations, an optional 3,500-sheet user-adjustable paper deck designed to accommodate ledger, legal, letter or letter-R can be added.

  The imageRUNNER 85 offers two ways to connect to the network - the Canon-designed Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-B4 and the imagePASS-M2 Print Controller jointly developed by Canon and Electronics for Imaging. Both solutions have been designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing network infrastructure, and come with a full suite of system utilities to simplify device installation and management.

  The imageRUNNER 85's Mailbox function allows users to store print jobs to the device's hard drive. Up to 100 Mailboxes are available with a total document capacity of 7,700 pages. Once stored, print jobs can be moved between Mailboxes, combined, renamed, erased, and printed as required.

  On the output side, the imageRUNNER 85 offers a choice of three finishers with the ability to perform multiposition and saddle-stitched stapling, booklet trimming, hole punching, Z-folding, and post-process document insertion.
