The HD-EC (High Definition
Electronic Cinematography) set of prime lenses is
now known as the FJs series, with a long list of improved
features and an expanded lineup new for NAB 2004.
The FJs55, with a fast T1.6 capability and 2.4 lb.weight
joins the FJs5, FJs9, FJs14, FJs24, and FJs35 in Canon’s
line of premiere HD-EC lenses. All six lenses feature
a dramatically enhanced focus rotation angle of 280
degrees (up from 180 degrees on the previous generation),
and improved optical and mechanical performance.
These stunning primes exhibit high MTF, high resolution,
and high contrast from the center of the image, to
the corners.
All HD-EC lenses feature traditional film-style feel
and operation with film-style markings for focus,
iris and zoom as well as consistent color temperature
between lenses. |
