Both the HJ21eX7.8B
IRSD/IASD and HJ21eX7.5B IRSD/IASD bring HDxs specs to the
portable telephoto lens arena, opening up a new range of
options for shooters in HD and SD production. The HJ21eX7.8B
is geared for ENG/portable applications, while the HJ21eX7.5,
designed specifically for studio or EFP production environments,
excels by exhibiting almost no zoom effect during focusing.
The size and weight are virtually the same as Canon's past
SD-only lens in this category, with the added control of
Digital Drive. Both lenses operate with a zoom ratio and
focal length previously unavailable in this size and weight.
