to the next
level with the new J22ex7.6B IRSD/IASD lens from
Canon.
The widest angle portable telephoto lens ever
produced, the J22ex7.6B for SDTV is the first in
Canon’s new e-IFxs broadcast lens series,
featuring to minimize environmental impact
with enhanced features.
The J22ex7.6B is the perfect platform to introduce
our e-IFxs series of broadcast lenses. Canon has
once again pushed the capabilities of ENG/EFP
lenses to new heights, combining a higher zoom
ratio with a wider angle than ever in a portable
lens for unmatched versatility. The advances of
e-IFxs make the J22ex7.6B a powerful extension
of our industry-leading IFxs technology.
With its combination of a 22x zoom range
(7.6–168mm, or 15.2-336mm w/2x extender) and
7.6mm wide angle, the J22ex7.6B builds on the
performance of the popular J21x7.8B, delivering
Canon’s world-class imagery through the
X-Element and Power Optical System. Maximum
zoom speed has also been reduced to an amazing
0.5 seconds from end to end. The J22ex7.6B
WRSD/WASD uses Canon’s "Crossover"
technology that restores the 4:3 image of a
switchable camera to that of a conventional 4:3
format camera, in addition to a 2x extender.
Canon’s original IFxs technology brought higher
performance and specifications to a smaller
and more compact package. Now with e-IFxs,
Canon underscores its commitment to
environmental design by manufacturing with
non-polluting components featuring lead-free
glass, and enhanced digital technology, which
improves on the performance of the highly
useful tools of Digital Drive.
Equipped with an informational LCD display
and Digital Feature Navigator, e-IFxs series
users can customize the enhanced digital
functions with ease and precision.
