HD-EC Anamorphic Converter ACV-235

FEATURES:

  • The world's first anamorphic converter specifically developed for the 2/3-inch HD format.
  • The ACV-235 is an optical converter for 2/3-inch digital motion picture cameras which allows for a 2.3.5: 1 aspect ratio image to be captured with the standardized 16:9 high definition imagers.
  • It is compatible with all HD-EC prime and zoom lenses using the standardized B4 HD mount.
  • The ACV-235 achieves a 2.35:1 film out while maintaining maximum overall picture sharpness. Normally, cropping the original 1.78:1 image in post production to create the desired 2.35:1 imagery reduces vertical resolution.
  • The converter design achieves a very high MTF that is optimally distributed across the image plane. Combined with the superb contrast performance and a remarkably well-controlled light distribution characteristic, the resultant picture sharpness contributes to imagery of extraordinary clarity.
  • When using the ACV-235, it should be noted that the image projected onto the camera sensors is inverted.
