  
SDTV Auto Focus Lens YH 16x7 KTS-AF
Canon was the first to introduce to the world, the YH16x7
KTS-AF, a pro-video Remote Control lens equipped with Canon’s
advanced Self Contained Auto Focusing system. The system allows the
lens to focus on an object automatically by analyzing the video signal
from the camera solely within the lens unit. This lens meets the needs
of an array of truly versatile markets, such as, building security,
traffic control, customs and immigration, education and web broadcasting.
ABOUT THIS LENS
One of the greatest advantages of the YH16x7 KTS-AF,
is that it can be used in any kind of existing system capable of inputting
video signal from the camera, including those using robotic pan/tilt
cameras. It is not necessary to care about the existing camera compatibility
or the system since you can simply add the YH16x7 KTS-AF
with Canon’s auto focus feature and dramatically expand the
possible applications of the system.
Although the YH16x7 KTS-AF will automatically
focus on an object, the operator can still redirect the focusing
position to an area nearer or farther away from the current focused
position. Once a preferred direction is selected the lens will automatically
focus on the next existing object whether it is near or far.
