The new site is specifically designed to be customer-friendly and provide more detailed and complete information than ever before. Featuring improved navigation features, www.canonbroadcast.com provides a “Quick Product Finder” for fast access to relevant product information, including lens accessories such as filters, optical attachments, and operational accessories. One specific enhancement to the site offers product information based on a particular marketplace or customer application. The Navigation area for this portion of the site is labeled "My Industry." When a visitor clicks on it, he or she can choose from the following categories: Broadcasters, Mobile TV Facilities, Rental Facilities, Production Studios, Digital Motion Pictures, Government, House of Worship, Institutions, Corporations/B2B, System Integrators, and Dealers.

The www.canonbroadcast.com site also offers extensive educational options under the title "Canon Know How: The Guide to TV Optics." This will include Canon's White Paper series (some of which have appeared in Broadcast Engineering magazine) as well as FAQ's. Direct access to the White Papers, a new Electronic Range Calculator, product-oriented Flash presentations, and Canon's e-Digital Drive Interactive CD are also provided. And an “Ask Canon” link allows visitors to direct comments to specific offices within Canon U.S.A., as well as providing a list of sales and support consultants for Central and South America.
