YJ19X9B KRS (for 2/3" format)/YH19X6.7 KRS (for 1/2" format)

The bar for Pro-Video excellence has been raised with the introduction of the new YJ19x9B KRS 2/3" and YH19x6.7 KRS 1/2" IFpro lens.

Advantages of IF technology include reduced chromatic aberrations, high and flat MTF, ergonomic grip, special protein paint, and the trademark IF square hood which eliminates ghosting and flare, and allows for creative filter work. Responding to the increasingly high standards of Pro-Video users, the Canon 19X IFpro lens excels with a 30% faster zoom motor, and Canon's exclusive Shuttle Shot technology, which allows operators to zoom back and forth instantly between any two positions, at the touch of a button.

The IFpro lens, originally introduced by Canon with our 18X, (the choice of 80% of all Pro-Video internally focused (IF) lens buyers) offers some important user benefits including: reduced chromatic aberrations for increased resolution, decreased flare, and enhanced production value. IF technology also allows users a higher level of creative filter use, since the front of the barrel does not turn when focusing.

SHUTTLE SHOT

By memorizing any two focal lengths, the Shuttle Shot can automatically "shuttle" between the two points at its highest speed, moving in either direction. If the full telephoto focal length is one of the two points, this function can also be used as a tool to quickly check focus and then zoom back to the original starting point.
