Enlightened Lithography – Making technology pay its way.

Canon’s success in lithography has come from both its advanced technology and the unique way it applied that technology…

For Canon, it is not enough to just develop and integrate new lithography technology. Adding extra “bells and whistles” can sometimes increase a user’s costs without a sufficient payback in performance.

So for Canon, the real question is, how can we do the job more intelligently, more efficiently, more elegantly? How can we give our users more usable performance per unit of technology and per unit of cost?

Canon calls this approach Enlightened Lithography.
