CXDI-50C

Introduction

The Canon CXDI-50C portable, lightweight DR system provides high quality, filmless image capture for a broad range of radiographic applications, including trauma, ICU and bedside exams. Featuring proprietary, advanced Canon LANMIT (Large Area New-MIS Sensor and TFT) detector technology, the Canon CXDI-50C DR system delivers high-quality diagnostic images efficiently with minimal X-ray exposure to patients, making it ideal for pediatric and orthopedic use. This new portable DR system consists of a Canon Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Detector and a Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillator, allowing for extremely effective X-ray absorption and high signal-to-noise performance.

The large 14-inch x 17-inch imaging area and portable design – just under an inch thick (0.9 inches) and weighing only 10.6 lbs – allow the CXDI-50C to be especially useful with patients who have limited mobility and for capturing images at angles that are difficult to set with fixed devices.

Features

Discover the CXDI-50C, a revolutionary portable DR system providing unmatched efficiency, effectiveness, and versatility. Canon’s advanced flat panel detector technology with an incorporated Cesium Iodide scintillator delivers a highly sensitive imaging system.

Large Imaging Area in a Compact, Portable Design
The large 14” x 17” imaging area is provided by a detector that is less than 1 inch thick and weighs only 10.6 pounds.

Enhanced Productivity
The technologist selects the necessary views to complete the requested exam or the requested views are automatically selected through communication between the DICOM worklist and the RIS.

Immediate Results
An on-screen preview image is available just 3-5 seconds after exposure. Sequential images can be acquired in as little as 6 seconds.

Seamless Network Integration
Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base T connectivity with DICOM 3.0 compatibility enables seamless data transfer to any DICOM hard copy output device, PACS, or HIS/RIS for efficient printing, archiving, and remote viewing of Images. The system complies with IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards for interoperability to ensure easy, effective integration with the hospital network.
