Firmware Ver.1.1.0 incorporates the following improvements and fixes: 1. Support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 operating systems has been added. 2. Support for Internet Explorer 10 has been added. 3. Improved connectivity with OnSSI's recording system (VMS), confirmed with the Ocularis ES Version 3.6, to help avoid randomly losing communication with the camera and interruption of the footage, resulting in a black screen. 4. Implementation of Minor bug fixes. 5. The Network Camera Operation Guide has been revised to correspond with the improvements resulting from Firmware Ver.1.1.0. Firmware Ver.1.1.0 is for Network Cameras with firmware Ver.1.0.0 through 1.0.3. If you decide to upgrade to this firmware, refer to the readme file "Readme-E.txt", and use the following firmware file and upgrade tool: [Firmware file and tool] - vbm700v110.bin - NetworkCameraFWUP.exe

How to Download and Install
- How to Check the Version
   The version is displayed on the upper left of the Settings Title Page.

- Follow the procedure described below to download the file. 
   The file is a self-extracting file. 
1. Click the file mentioned below to open the download window, then click [Save].
2. Specify where to save the file (ex. on the desktop) and click [Save]. A file with the same name (.exe file) is downloaded to the specified location.
3. Double-click the downloaded file to automatically extract the file and create a folder.
4. Double-click a pdf file in the folder to open. Follow the instruction in the manual to upgrade the version.

Caution
- After completing the firmware upgrade, use the included software installer to install the Admin Tools Certificate.The Admin Tools Certificate is a digital certificate needed for using Admin Viewer and Admin Tools.

- After completing the firmware upgrade, you will not be able to use the Proxy Authentication Admin Tools included on the CD-ROM. 

- After completing the firmware upgrade, you will not be able to use the Backup Tool & Restore Tool Ver. 3.0.0 or earlier. Download the latest version separately.

- After completing the firmware upgrade, the camera's time settings may have changed. Reset the time on the settings page and reboot the camera.

- The functions provided by completing the upgrade are not listed in the manuals on the included CD-ROM. Download the latest version separately.

* Important Points When Upgrading from Firmware Ver. 1.0.0
- Follow the steps below to upgrade the firmware.
 (1) Note down the camera's settings.
     The Backup Tool & Restore Tool cannot be used.
 (2) Refer to the Firmware Upgrade Tool User Manual (VBFUUM_E.pdf) and upgrade the firmware.
    * Use the following methods to restore the camera's default settings.
        If you do not restore the camera to its default settings, you may experience problems when connecting to the camera.
           - In the Firmware Upgrade Tool's [Initial Settings], select the [Revert to Initial Settings] checkbox.
           - After completing the firmware upgrade, navigate to the camera's [Setting Menu] > [Restore Settings] and click [Exec] (see the Operation Guide's "Restore Settings" for details).
 (3) Manually reenter the camera's settings you noted down in step (1).
