Agfa :Apogee Prepress and Digital Print Link enable Agfa customers to integrate a color imagePRESS® digital press into their existing workflow creating a hybrid environment. With a hybrid workflow jobs are managed and produced centrally using the same file for output to an offset or digital press. This eliminates the duplication of prepress work and potential errors, increasing productivity and press utilization while decreasing turnaround time. Bidirectional capabilities through JDF and JMF allow Agfa :Apogee and the color imagePRESS digital press to communicate job instructions and report status information for further automation.
