Getting real world experience prior to graduation is invaluable in determining career goals and aspirations. Students with actual work experience also have an advantage as they begin their job search.

As an intern at Canon, you will be exposed to the business, marketing, and technical issues facing Canon. Our intern projects help you to learn and develop your skills but also help you to make a meaningful difference in Canon's businesses and goals. The Canon Insights Program will give you access to various departments within Canon as well as our key leaders so that you can appreciate all of the opportunities that are available to you.

The Canon Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs 10 weeks during the summer months. This is a full-time (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), paid internship. This program is designed to provide capable and motivated students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects. The internship program is a great learning experience and an opportunity to make some lasting friendships. Internships are available in a variety of departments targeting students with the following majors:

Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Strategic Planning, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Audit & Compliance, Environmental Science & Product Safety, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Imaging Technology, Web Design, Graphic Arts, Public Relations, Legal, Corporate Communications, English, Statistics, and others.

We prefer students that are just completing their junior year, however, all are welcome to apply. To succeed in our Internship Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to be enrolled in a related major in the department of interest and possess some former work or internship experience.
