LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., September 8, 2008 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging technology, today announced the introduction of the FAXPHONE L90, a laser-based facsimile (fax) and printer, designed to work in place of two devices. Ideal for small business and home office settings, the Canon FAXPHONE L90 delivers a wide range of capabilities to help users manage incoming and outgoing documents with greater ease and efficiency.
Without compromising image quality, the new FAXPHONE L90 maintains 13 copies-per-minute (cpm) and 15 pages-per-minute (ppm)i in print mode. The desktop device also features an up to 33.6 Kpbs Super G3 modem to provide fax transmission speeds of approximately three seconds per page2, and comes standard with a handset.

Through enhanced detail, fine tone gradation and improved reproduction, the FAXPHONE L90 produces images with 600x600 dpi print resolution in monochrome. Additionally, with a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder and 346-page memory, the FAXPHONE L90 ensures increased efficiency and dependability while working with large documents. All units come bundled with Canon UFR II LT software.
Scheduled to be available in September through retailers and resellers, the Canon FAXPHONE L90 will have a suggested selling price of $199.
