Canon Offers Full-Featured Devices to Help Improve Security of Information
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., April 3, 2012 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will be showcasing a suite of sophisticated document scanners ideal for use by federal government at the Federal Office Systems Expo (FOSE), the largest government technology market event in the country. The conference will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on
April 3-5, 2012 and Canon will be in booth #301.
At FOSE 2012, Canon will be displaying select scanning devices including:
- Canon imageFORMULA ScanFront 300P CAC/PIV network scanner, which combines Common Access Card (CAC) / Personal Identification Verification (PIV) card recognition with networked document scanner functionality. Document data can be captured, converted and shared across a network in multiple ways, including encrypted and sent in secure e-mails, with digital signatures (with no repudiation) added for further security. The scanner also features a color touch screen display to facilitate use. FaxCore, Inc. will be demonstrating its integration of its award-winning FaxCore 2007 application with the ScanFront 300P CAC/PIV scanner. Also on display, will be an overview of the FaxCore 2007 integration with the real-time encrypted etherFAX hybrid fax service, a combination providing an imaging and cloud fax solution.
- Canon imageFORMULA P-215 personal document scanner is compact in size and delivers high-quality imaging for mobile information capture. Its innovative design, easy use, and excellent value make it ideal for use by frequent travelers and office users looking to improve personal efficiency and productivity.
- Canon imageFORMULA DR-M160 office document scanner, which is ideal for government workgroups and departments. The user-friendly design, high-quality image processing, reliable item handling, and intelligent software offer end-to-end options for capturing, converting, communicating, and controlling confidential information.
- Canon imageFORMULA DR-X10C is designed for high-volume, paper-intensive environments, with high-speed color duplex scanning up to 130 ppm1 / 260 ipm1 and an impressive suggested daily volume of 60,000 scans. The DR-X10C captures a wide variety of documents, quickly and reliably, improving records and information management.
In addition, these Canon scanners meet ENERGY STAR? guidelines for energy efficiency and comply with the EU RoHS and WEEE directives, are Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, and conform to Section 508 standards.
