Miller’s Professional Imaging Now Delivers Canon DreamLabo Quality to Customers

MELVILLE, N.Y., September 7, 2017 – As many professional photo labs look to diversify their high-quality photography products, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce that Miller’s Professional Imaging is the latest business to add Canon’s DreamLabo 5000 inkjet production photo printer to its fleet. Founded in 1939 by Bill Miller in a small studio in Pittsburg, Kansas, Miller’s Professional Imaging prides itself on being the largest professional photography lab organization in the United States, offering professional prints and press products to professionals in all fifty states. Miller’s Professional Imaging offers an extensive line-up of products, including photo prints, albums, cards, and wall art.

“Not only does the DreamLabo 5000 print vivid images with stunning clarity, but it also allows photography businesses to expand their product offerings in new and unique ways,” said Toyotsugu Kuwamura, executive vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “Since the introduction of the DreamLabo 5000, photo labs are now able to introduce to customers exciting new ways to display their most cherished memories, from rich photo books to vibrant posters, printed on a variety of media types with a high level of quality. Canon congratulates Miller’s Professional Imaging on adding the DreamLabo 5000 to their business and wishes them continued success.”

Taking advantage of the DreamLabo 5000 printer’s ability to produce accurate and vibrant colors at 2400 dpi, Miller’s Professional Imaging has expanded their offerings to support high-end applications for the needs of its customers. Capitalizing off of the high-resolution and expanded color range provided by their new printer, Miller’s Professional Imaging is now able to offer their customers “Dream Prints.” Printed on the DreamLabo, “Dream Prints” feature vibrant color reproduction, boosted clarity and crisp detail through seven dye-based inks on a wide variety of media options.

“As a dedicated lab to professional photographers all over North America, we feel it is our duty to constantly explore unique and groundbreaking opportunities to better serve our clients,” said Richard Miller, CEO of Miller’s Professional Imaging. “When we began testing the DreamLabo 5000 printer, we were blown away by the range and depth of color that we could achieve. We are thrilled to add Dream Prints to our existing line of products and look forward to discovering the many ways to use this powerful technology.”

The Canon DreamLabo 5000 production inkjet printer offers optimal performance and productivity to retail photo printing and high-end print-on-demand (POD) markets. Its integration of FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print-head technology provides outstanding photo and text quality. The printer also offers an alternative to traditional silver halide processing technology, coupling its strengths with the advantages of inkjet printing. The DreamLabo 5000 Printer features automatic double-sided printing, lending itself to printing photo albums and on-demand two-sided documents.
