What kind of Photo Albums is the hdAlbum?
The hdAlbum differs from traditional photo albums in that each photo is printed directly onto the page instead of numerous individual photos being stuck to a page, making for a much slimmer album that is a lot easier to share.


Can you produce a product not on your product list?
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to produce products outside of what is offered on this website. All products must be created and uploaded within our editor.


How long will it take to produce and deliver my order?
Production takes approximately 3 to 5 business days and delivery usually takes 1 to 2 business days (depending on shipping service chosen)

What are the System Requirements to use the Photobook Designer Application?
The minimum system requirements to use our editor are:

  • Mac OSX 10.4 or higher; Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7
  • at or above a 2.66 GHz processor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 2 GB free hard disk space
  • An active internet connection

I have an Apple Mac. Will I still be able to use your hdAlbum Designer application?
Yes our hdAlbum Designer is 100% compatible with Mac operating systems. Our designer has been tested with Mac OSX 10.4 and higher.


Do I need an Internet connection?
Yes, in order to use our editor you will need an active internet connection. When uploading your project to our servers we recommend using a stable connection to avoid uploading issues.


Which browsers are supported by hdAlbum Online Designer?

Do I have to complete my project all in one sitting?
It is not necessary to complete your project in one sitting. The hdAlbum Designer allows you to save your project and return to edit as many times as you wish.


I’m not a designer, is there a way to quickly create a layout for my hdAlbum?
Yes. Simply select auto fill when starting your project. This will enable the software to automatically layout your pictures for you.


How do I add more pages to my photobook?
To add extra pages to your album, click on "Insert Page" on the top menu bar. Please note that you must be on a 2 page spread to add pages. They will be added directly after the spread you are on.


How do I know if the resolution of my photo is too small?
You will see a warning in the form of an exclamation mark in the center of the photo. If you see this warning, you are risking that the image will turn out grainy and pixilated if printed. We highly recommend either reducing the photo size or replacing the photo with a higher quality photo.


What kind of fonts can I use? Including International fonts?
The hdAlbum Online Designer will only use the fonts installed on our server.


What happens if I leave a page blank?
Before submitting your order, you will receive a warning indicating that you have a blank page. Every photo book must have a minimum of 20 pages (10 sheets). If you choose to leave a page blank, your final printed photo album will also contain blank pages.

How do I access my previously saved projects?
You can log in to your account by going to the My Projects/Login link at the top of the page, or by clicking the link in any product tab. Once you have logged in, click the Online Projects button and you will be able to access your previous projects. If an order has not yet been produced, you can select it and continue editing. If an order has already been produced, and you want to make a similar album with some additional edits, you can click on that order and then click the "Duplicate" button. This will prompt you to create a new name and then you can edit your photo book.

Is there a time limit to re-order the same book that was ordered previously?
There is a 90 day re-order window per project submitted.


Can I order multiple copies in a single order?
Yes. Simply select your quantity at the checkout screen.


Why am I having trouble uploading? What does “Cannot Connect to Server” mean?
If you are receiving the error message 'Cannot connect to server', or your upload does not commence (or keeps restarting), then this means that you most likely have a firewall restriction that is preventing the editor from uploading your file.


If you're using a work network, most work places have network firewalls in place so we'd recommend contacting your network administrator to see if they can add an exception in the network firewall, otherwise you may need to do this from home.

How many pages can I have?
The maximum amount of pages that you can have per hdAlbum is 100 pages, while the minimum is 20 pages.


Can I change the type or size of my album once I have started a project?
Yes, you can change the size of an album once you have started. Changing the product type of your project is really easy. Simply click on the icon with the double-ended arrow on the middle toolbar (located right next to the 'zoom out' magnification icon) and choose the product type you'd like to continue your project on.


Once you've made the change, make sure that you double check every page to make sure nothing is out of place or has been changed. Once you're happy with how the project looks (the best way to do so is by using the 'Preview' function), you should then be able to proceed with ordering the project.

Major U.S. shipping carriers: FedEx, UPS (no USPS).


Do you deliver outside of the United States?
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer delivery outside of the U.S.
