Darrell has been photographing for over 33 years, marketing his work for the last 31 years and has been a full time Nature/Travel/Wildlife Photographer for the last 25 years.  He markets his work through Stock Agencies, Editorial Markets, Photography Workshops/Tours, Seminars and Speaking Engagements. His work is represented by Getty Images, Corbis Danita Delimont Agency, and DRK Photo.

He is the past President of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA).  His photographs have been published in: Outdoor Photographer, Newsweek, National Geographic, Audubon, National Wildlife, Birder's World, Sunset, Natures Best and many more.

He has been showcased in most every major calendar including:  Audubon, Inner Reflection, Sierra Club, Kodak, Browntrout, Nature Conservancy, and World Wildlife Fund.

He is an accomplished speaker/teacher and also was featured on five Canon Photo Safari television programs where he taught actors/actresses to photograph in the field.

He leads photography workshops with Joe Van Os Photo Safaris, along with his own workshops.  He travels around the world capturing special moments photographically.
