LASER CLASS 1060P

Laser Fax Machine

Features

LASER PRINTING on plain paper with 600-dpi resolution at speeds up to 6 pages per minute. It supports printing from Windows&reg 95/98/Me and Windows NT&reg 4.0/2000, via a Parallel or USB port. For added versatility, the LASER CLASS 1060P features a top-loading 100-sheet Automatic Paper Feeder for letter, legal and A4 paper. You can even print on heavier stocks and envelopes with ease.
SUPER G3 LASER FAXING with a built-in Super G3 33.6 Kbps modem transmits pages in as little as approximately 3 seconds* per page, and Quick On-line Transmission works harder to save transmission time and money. Canon's exclusive UHQ VI Image Processing Technology transmits images with 64 shades of gray for outstanding image quality, even photographs. Sophisticated dialing features allow for one-touch dialing, group dialing and multiple delayed and broadcast functions. Incoming faxes are printed at 6 pages per minute with 600 dpi resolution.
MEMORY STORAGE capacity of up to 256 pages**, allowing you to send or store lengthy documents. And you never need to worry if toner or paper runs out - incoming faxes are stored and printed automatically, as soon as supplies are replenished.
ENERGY STAR&reg COMPLIANT, the LASER CLASS 1060P uses Canon's RAPID Fusing System, with low power requirements and zero warm-up time, to reduce both energy consumption and operating costs. What's more, Canon's worldwide cartridge recycling program, the Clean Earth Campaign, benefits the environment by reusing materials, thereby reducing landfills.
CONVENIENCE COPYING CAPABILITIES allows you to make up to 99 letter-, legal-or A4-sized crisp, laser copies at a time with 600-dpi resolution at 6-pages-per-minute. You can even reduce images to 90%, 80% or 70% of original size. A 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder lets you send lengthy documents with minimal effort.
FULL-FEATURED TELEPHONE CAPABILITIES include an optional handset, and you can dial numbers directly on the LASER CLASS 1060P. The telephone answering machine port allows you to get the added value of an answering machine on the same phone line. Distinctive Ring Pattern Detection, when used with your local telephone company ringing services, allows more than one phone number on a single line so you can distinguish the type of incoming call.
VIRTUALLY MAINTENANCE FREE, the LASER CLASS 1060P uses Canon's top-loading FX-3 Single Cartridge System. One Cartridge comes standard in the box with every unit. The FX-3 prints up to 2,700 pages*** in standard mode, and when it's time to replace the cartridge, you're also replacing everything that can wear out or run out in one simple step, making maintenance a snap and downtime a thing of the past. * Approximate 3 seconds per page fax transmission time is based on ITU-T Chart No. 1 (MMR, Standard Mode) at 33.6 Kbps modem speed when transmitting to another 33.6 Kbps fax machine. The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) currently supports 28.8 Kbps modem speeds of lower, depending on telephone line conditions. ** Based on ITU-T No. 1 Chart (Standard Mode). ***Based on 4% original, 5% coverage.
