LV-7590

Support LV Projectors

Features

The LV-7590 offers native XGA resolution (1024 x 768) for your images, making it a perfect match for your laptop computer. In addition, the LV-7590 supports WXGA resolution through high-quality compression, to match the resolution of your wide screen laptop or pc.
Shining bright at 7000 lumens, the LV-7590 is Canon’s brightest projector yet. And it’s equipped with state-of-the-art 10-bit digital video processing circuitry for smoother gradations and more natural, faithful color rendition than ever before. Together with 3-D Digital Noise Reduction and Intelligent Sharpness Control, these technologies deliver clear, high-quality images even in well-lit environments. High Contrast Ratio
The 1800:1 contrast ratio is obtained by using a highly efficient optical system and 330W NSHA lamp, in addition to durable LCD panels.

Mechanical Shutter
This new feature prevents light from escaping by covering the lens completely when there is no video data to display.
Interchangeable Lens System Combine Canon's brightest projector with a wide array of lenses, and you have a combination that will work in every situation imaginable. The LV-7590 can be paired with any of these optional lenses: an Ultra Wide Angle, a Wide Angle Zoom, a Long Focus Zoom, or an Ultra Long Focus Zoom. The Wide Angle lenses give you big screen performance even with short projection distances, while the Long Focus lenses let you maintain a manageable screen size over long distances. The zooms allow you to set the perfect screen size - regardless of the size of your venue. Easy-Access Maintenance Cover
The maintenance cover on the top panel makes it easy to change the lens. Since the LV-7590 does not come with a lens- you can save money by only purchasing the lens that best suites your particular venue.
Improving on the traditional 3LCD light (red, green, blue), the LV-7590 has a new Color Control Device that independently controls yellow components, adjusting the quantity of yellow light and automatically selecting for brightness or color reproduction.
This feature provides manual control over specific hues in the projected image. The user selects the hue to be changed, then a palette is then displayed to allow for changes to saturation and gamma. Up to 8 different alterations can be stored at once. An ideal tool for situations where fine tuning color is a must.
Image Controls Auto Picture Control
This feature makes a projected image easier to see by adjusting its contrast with an emphasis on black tones. It does this by monitoring the average brightness of the incoming signal on a frame by frame basis, and adjusting gamma levels accordingly. This leads not only to a clearer picture with greater dynamic range, but to sharper titles and subtitles as well. You can select from two levels of adjustment. Auto Lamp Mode
If the room lights are off, a careful viewer might see the black areas in a projected image as being a shade or so lighter than pure black. In such cases, Auto mode comes in handy by allowing you to display crisp black tones in a darkened room. It continuously adjusts lamp brightness to compensate for this effect.
The LV-7590 gives users an exceptional degree of freedom with picture adjustment. Projected images can be optimized according to the type of content.

Standard (Computer/Video)
Standard projection mode for normal viewing.

High Contrast (Computer)
Makes graphs and photographs look sharper.

Cinema (Video)
Designed for watching movies in darkened rooms.

Custom (Computer/Video)
Users can freely adjust several factors, including gamma. Gamma adjustment affects the overall brightness of an image, making it useful for images that are too dark or too bright. (Range: 16 steps) Up to 10 custom profiles can be stored.
Ready for diverse input sources, the LV-7590 offers connection to laptop and desktop computers, DVD players, digital cameras and camcorders, and more- including HDMI devices using a (commercially available) HDMI to DVI adapter. Audio Input/Output
The LV-7590 is equipped with Audio OUT for relaying audio to connected external speakers. This is useful when a DVD or PC input source is also linked to the projector. Digital to Digital DVI-D Interface
DVI-D is a high-speed interface that provides an all-digital connection between the LV-7590 and an input source. It avoids the signal conversion step required by the Computer IN (Analog RGB) interface, and thus maintains high signal integrity. This type of connection results in a clear picture, with virtually no flickering, blurred lines, ghost images, or coloration problems with text display. The DVI-D interface also includes a pixel clock to accurately reconstruct the timing of the digital signal. Through its DVI-D interface, the LV-7590 can also be connected to HDCP-compliant input devices. HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is an encryption standard designed to prevent unauthorized duplication of copyrighted digital content, such as feature films. Signals supported include D-1080i, D-1035i, D-720p, D-575p, D-480p, D-575i, D-480i, D-1080PsF/24, D-1080PsF/25, and D-1080PsF/30. Monitor Out
The LV-7590 enables connection to an external monitor. In addition to analog and digital RGB, video and component signals can be output as well. This feature is especially useful in settings where the projector is hooked up to a desktop PC, not a laptop. Monitor connection is via a brand new dedicated Monitor OUT terminal.
The optional Network Imager (LV-NI03) allows you to remotely manage and operate your LV-7590 projector from any computer on your company's network. The Network Imager works with standard Ethernet-based networks using TCP/IP and gives the projector its own IP address. The network imager offers the user a variety of remote funtionality features:

Web Management
Manage your LV-7590 from a remote location using a web browser. Easily turn the projector on/off, adjust image settings, and switch inputs. You can even set daily or weekly schedules (up to 10 timer events), and monitor projector status- including lamp life and internal temperature

Email Alerts
Send immediate, automatic email alerts to registered email addresses when a lamp needs replacement or when other problems occur. Messages include a description of the event, plus troubleshooting tips.

Multi-Control
Multiple projectors can be managed and controlled from a single PC—individually or all at once. Up to 100 connected projectors can be simultaneously controlled. Each projector must be equipped with its own Network Imager. Real Time Capture
From a remote location, the projector can display screen content of a networked PC in your system. Users can either send content (such as a presentation document) to the projector from their networked PC, or have the projector initiate access to the PC to get the content. Special software must be installed on the PC to use this feature.

Network Communication
Screen content captured from a networked PC can be projected and shared with multiple PCs on the network. Perfect for presentations and demonstrations, captured images can be annotated with drawings/notes and be displayed in real time on each screen.

Network Viewer (FTP)
Image data stored on a file server can be automatically transferred to the projector for display. Up to as many as 1,000 JPEG images can be displayed, and users can program how long and how many times an image is displayed.
In addition to being able to project images from the standard upright or ceiling-suspended positions, the LV-7590 can be installed vertically to project images onto the ceiling or floor, or at any angle in between. You can easily project onto a standard screen, or the ceiling or floor within the full 360º range Center Lens Design
The projectors center lens design allows easier setup than projectors with an off-center lens- just center the projector in relation to the screen center. Horizontal/Vertical Powered Lens Shift
The projectors powered lens-shift function lets you adjust the height and horizontal position of the projected image with push-button convenience. By shifting the lens itself using the projector’s control panel or remote control, the image can be raised or lowered and moved left and right without physically tilting the projector. The image can be vertically shifted up to 40% and horizontally shifted up to 20%. Digital Keystone Correction
Even if the projector faces the screen at an angle, you can get perfectly rectangular images thanks to digital keystone correction. Images can be adjusted vertically (within a range of ±40 degrees) and horizontally (±20 degrees).
The LV-7590 has a variety of security features. PIN Code Lock
Only authorized users are able to start and operate the projector, with the use of the projectors PIN code lock. At startup, a display will appear and prompt the user to enter a password set in advance by the projector’s owner. Users cannot get past this screen until the password is correctly entered. If no action is taken in over three minutes, the projector shuts down automatically. Key Lock
The Key Lock function is used to disable the keys on either the projector’s control panel or the remote control, so only one person controls the show. This feature is helpful in preventing interruptions due to someone accidentally touching the control panel.
Kensington Lock
Prevent theft of unattended projectors by using the built-in Kensington Lock; a small, metal-reinforced hole used for attaching lock-and-cable apparatus. Secure and protect the projector with no unsightly components to glue or stick onto the projector.
The projector monitors the speed of air flow through the cartridge-style filter to determine its condition, and automatically advances the filter when needed. Each filter cartridge is good for 10 automatic filter changes before physical cartridge replacement is necessary.
Even with high power and brightness, the LV-7590 is a super quiet performer, operating at 40dB. Silent Mode reduces fan noise even further to an ultra-quiet 35dB - perfect for smaller rooms and situations that require a quieter projector, but not all of the LV-7590's brightness. Not only that, but the projector's Fan Control automatically monitors room temperature and, in a cooler room, lowers the power to the fan.
The LV-7590 features an ergonomic remote, designed for maximum usability and functionality. Buttons are arranged for quick access to main projector functions, making projector and presentation control simpler than ever. Connect the projector to your PC with the included USB cable, and you can use the remote to wirelessly control your PC from across a room. You can even use the remote to move an on-screen pointer (Arrow/Cross/Dot) to emphasize a part of the projected image.
The LV-7590 can be customized to project its owner’s logo at the start of each session. With Logo Capture, you can capture and save an image that can be used for the startup screen. Custom logo display not only gives users a way to make a strong impression on their audience, but it may also help prevent unauthorized projector use.
