Important Information & Equipment Tips

For cleaning and to help sanitize Canon camera, video and lens products, we recommend utilizing 70-80% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol applied with a soft lint free cloth. Caution should be exercised. We recommend wearing and properly disposing of protective gloves and having proper ventilation. Turn the device's power off and remove the battery. Ensure all protective lens caps and camera body caps are installed on each unit. Clean the exterior components only. Do not clean coated lens surfaces and image sensors with this suggested method. Allow product to thoroughly dry before utilizing again. This recommended cleaning procedure cannot guarantee the elimination of the novel coronavirus from Canon camera, video and lens products.
