Firmware Version 01.070300 incorporates the following improvement:

For your information, this change is only related to the case of command control of the projector from an external device.

1. When the firmware is updated to 01.070300, the default stop bit setting for the command control is set to 2. Previous Firmware Version 01.060200 default setting for the command control is a stop bit setting of 1.

Note: Make sure the stop bit setting of the projector matches that of the command control device. 

For customers who need assistance changing the stop bit setting of the Canon Projector, please contact Canon’s customer support center.

Please check the firmware version on your projector. If it is running Version 01.060200 or an earlier version, then it should be updated to Version 01.070300.There is no action necessary if the projector's firmware is Version 01.070300.
