Canon is committed to the world community and the belief that we are helping to build a better world for future generations. We want to work with our customers to provide appropriate recycling of certain Canon consumer products to help improve the environment and our local communities. We are proud to announce a product recycling program to assist Canon customers in the United States in recycling these products.
We are currently offering recycling on all of our consumer products and the imageCLASS and imageFORMULA small office/home office product lines.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Below are the terms and conditions for the Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program (the "Program"). By recycling your Canon product using the Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program website, https://www.usa.canon.com/ (the "Site"), you agree to these terms and conditions and to follow the instructions set forth on the Site.
Authorized Canon Products:
Only the Canon brand consumer products listed on the Site are eligible for recycling (the "Eligible Products"). Any use of this Site to send ineligible products may result in the return of such products to the sender at sender's expense. Please note that Canon ink cartridges and consumables cannot be sent or returned using this Site. Customers who desire to recycle certain Canon toner cartridges must access http://www.usa.canon.com/cleanearth/return or call 1-800-OK-CANON.
Customer Responsibilities:
You must pack and ship the Eligible Products in accordance with the instructions on the Site including, but not limited to, those regarding weight limitations, quantity and types of items to be recycled. Eligible Products received for recycling will not be returned to you.
Do not use this Site to send, and Canon will not accept, any Eligible Products that are, or ever were, contaminated with substances (including, without limitation, chemicals or biological agents) that were not part of, or included with, such Eligible Product in the original manufacturer's packaging.
Ownership:
All rights, including but not limited to copyrights and trade secret rights, to the Site belong to Canon.
General:
Canon makes no representation concerning your eligibility for a tax deduction as a result of recycling your Eligible Product using this Site. The Program is valid only in the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii. Canon will not be liable for its failure to fulfill any obligation under these Terms and Conditions due to causes beyond its control. The terms of use of this Site and your access and use of the Site, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York, irrespective of its choice of law principles, and the parties agree that it is executed and delivered in that state. In the event any legal action becomes necessary to enforce or interpret the terms of use of this Site, you submit to the personal jurisdiction of the federal and state courts having jurisdiction for the state of New York. Failure to require the performance of any term or condition of this Site or the waiver of any breach, will not prevent subsequent enforcement of such term nor be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach of that or any other terms of use of this Site. The terms of use of this Site will be binding upon the parties, their affiliates, agents, successors and assigns. Canon reserves the right to alter, amend or modify the terms of use of this Site at any time upon notice to you. Section headings are inserted for convenience only and are not a part of these Terms and Conditions. Termination:
Canon may terminate access to, or discontinue, the Site at any time without cause. The provisions of these Terms and Conditions which by their nature extend beyond termination will survive termination.
Batteries and projector lamps are recyclable, but not through the Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program.
