ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION
Canon U.S.A. and more than 550 other Canon sites worldwide are certified to the ISO 14001 standard.
This internationally recognized standard provides organizations with a framework for developing effective Environmental Management Systems (EMS). With its EMS, Canon U.S.A. can analyze environmental aspects associated with the company's operating activities, products, and services, in order to establish objectives that reduce their negative environmental impacts. All Canon Americas sites with a certified EMS are audited by a third party to guarantee continual conformance to the standard. As a result, the Environmental Management System is fully incorporated into business operations. The company's commitment to the environment is stated in the Canon Americas Environmental Charter.
