New employees are greeted on Day 1 with a partial day orientation session covering the critical pieces of starting a new job.
Classroom and Online Learning
Online and instructor-led classes are offered on various topics, including Business Writing, Emotional Intelligence, Excelling in a Hybrid Work Environment, and many others.
Transitional Management
When employees shift from being individual contributors to working in management roles, there is a small window of time for a successful transition. The first 90 days in any new management role is critical. LEADing Canon is our program for this first 90 days. Leadership Institute
At Canon, everyone can be a leader regardless of their title. Through the Canon Leadership Institute, we offer leadership learning for all levels of the organization from individual contributors to executives. The CLI focuses on the ins and outs of daily operations, including embracing a digital mindset, managing people and projects, providing feedback and coaching and executing on corporate strategy.
