Canon U.S.A. Expands Recent Black-and-White imageCLASS Line Refresh with Additional Models Designed for Small-to-Medium Businesses
New Models Save User Time and Help Drive Productivity
MELVILLE, N.Y., March 6, 2018 – Small-to-medium businesses seek compact, easy-to-use printing solutions that can help boost productivity and allot employees more time to dedicate toward the creative tasks at hand. Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, delivers on these expectations with its latest black-and-white imageCLASS lineup refresh, focusing on user experience while simultaneously introducing advanced technology into a smaller device footprint. These new models complete the refresh of Canon’s imageCLASS black-and-white lineup, which began earlier this month.
“Canon’s signature reliability, evolving engine technologies, and intuitive user experience help small-to-medium businesses keep productivity high through advanced features and device displays that simplify user workflows,” says Toyotsugu Kuwamura, executive vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “This, in turn, allows information workers to focus more on, and foster more, creativity.”
Canon introduces two multifunction printers (MFPs) that feature intuitive printing and scanning capabilities, as well as two single function printers (SFPs) for those customers seeking speedy product performance in a compact frame.
The new imageCLASS MF426dw/MF424dw multifunction printers leverage a strong value proposition similar to that offered by the Color imageCLASS MF700/600 series models to provide customers freedom of choice in purchasing the best available color or black-and-white laser print solution.
These black-and-white, compact MFPs print up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) and offer the ability to add an extra paper tray for up to 900-sheet maximum paper capacity. A five-inch color touchscreen with smartphone-like usability delivers a seamless user experience and can be customized by a device administrator to simplify daily tasks through an available device platform, Application Library. Both models are supported by a standard three-year warranty backed by Canon U.S.A.’s award-winning service and support network.
In support of the Office of the Future, and understanding that today’s employees are more routinely working remotely, the MFPs offer mobile solutions for both printing and scanning. Users can leverage the Wi-Fi# direct function to create a hotspot from the MFP to establish direct connection to mobile devices, without the need for an external router. Additionally, users can scan and convert documents to searchable digital files through a single-pass duplex document feeder to increase scanning throughput.
